About Kat

Kat has loved dogs her whole life and has been working as a professional dog groomer for over 13 years. She started out by attending the Vet Tech program at Houston Community College and immediately fell in love with serving the dogs and their owners.

She worked and volunteered at the Houston S.P.C.A, the Houston Humane Society, Citizens for Animal Protection in Houston before moving to Austin permanently in 2007. She worked in both corporate and private salons from 2004 to 2015 before starting her own mobile business.  She especially enjoyed the benefits of mobile grooming – the low stress, the full attention each pet gets and the relationships that are formed.

Kat recently upgraded to a fully self-contained salon on wheels.  She comes right to your door with water and power on board and grooms your best friend in a clean, climate-controlled environment.  The typical appointment with Kat is around an hour and a half. Mobile grooming is very convenient for busy people and not just people who dote on their pets. After the first visit you don’t even have to be home!
